Find your Origin receipt

You’ll upload it when you pick your plan.

Billed by Origin
Origin bills your card, or a bank account you authorized, so the charge on your statement is your receipt: a statement line or a screenshot showing Origin, the date and the amount. For a record of your payments, Origin’s support team can send your billing history: ask from the gear icon › Support, or email hereforyou@useorigin.com with the date and amount of the charge.
App Store
In the App Store, tap your photo, then Apps & Purchase History › Purchase History. Or sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Google Play
In the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions › Budget & history.

A membership through your employer has no receipt, and neither does a free trial, since nothing was charged. Monthly or yearly, a membership you pay for counts.

Download your Origin data

Your full history, as files to keep.

Transactions
On the web, open Spending › Transactions, then the three-dot menu in the upper right, and select Export as CSV. Set filters or a date range first to export just part of it, up to two years back.
Returns and documents
Under Tax › Past years taxes, select a year and Access your return. Estate documents download from the three dots beside each one, and brokerage statements and tax forms from Documents under the gear icon.
Credit report
Download your Equifax credit report from the Credit Score page while you’re a member: Origin keeps your score history only for as long as you are one.

Ten days after your membership ends, Origin removes your connected accounts and their data, so download before then. Removing an account in Origin deletes its transactions there, and re-adding it doesn’t bring them back.

Cancel Origin

When you’re ready, cancel where you subscribed.

Origin’s web app
Sign in at app.useorigin.com, click the gear icon and select Membership, then the three-dot menu in the upper right, and select Cancel membership.
App Store
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions › Origin, and tap Cancel Subscription.
Google Play
In the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Origin, and tap Cancel subscription.

You keep Origin until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and a yearly plan runs to its renewal date with no refund for the rest. Money in Origin Invest or a Cash Account stays yours: withdraw it to your own bank before you close your Origin account. A tax return already filed through Origin isn’t affected.

Moving from Origin

Set up in minutes, with your history intact.

Zypper connects to the same banks and cards, fills in your history on its own and drafts a budget from it, so moving over is mostly signing in to your banks.

Rollover, category by categoryCategories with Rollover Budget in Origin work the same way in Zypper: turn on Roll over unspent budget, pick the month the balance starts from, and what you don’t spend builds up until you need it. For costs that come every few months or once a year, set the category’s spending frequency instead, and rollover turns on by itself.

Discretionary spending, as FlexOrigin sorted your categories into Fixed, Flexible and Discretionary. In Zypper, the discretionary ones that trade off against each other, dining, coffee, fun, can share one Flex amount, each still showing its own spending. Fixed costs stay in their own categories, where each bill counts in the month it’s due.

The fine print

The whole offer, in plain words.

Everything the offer comes with, and the little it doesn’t.

The switch offer for Origin customersEvery term of the offer.
For new Zypper customers whose household hasn’t had a Zypper subscription before.
Claim it with the “Claim 90 days free” button on this page: signing up any other way doesn’t bring up the offer.
Show a paid Origin subscription: a receipt, invoice or billing email, an App Store or Google Play receipt, or the charge on your card statement, dated in the last 12 months.
Essentials starts with 90 days free.
Premium Credit has no free trial, so it’s 50% off your first 3 monthly bills instead, or the same amount off your first year on yearly billing.
A card is needed to start the trial. Nothing is charged until it ends, and canceling before then means you’re never charged.
A receipt can claim the offer once, for one person.
The offer takes the place of a free month from a friend’s referral link; the two don’t combine.
Your receipt is checked automatically, and Zypper doesn’t keep the file: only what the check read from it, like the app, the date and the amount, and a fingerprint of the file so it can’t be used twice.
The offer also covers Monarch Money, YNAB, Rocket Money, and Copilot Money.
Zypper is not affiliated with or endorsed by Origin, whose name and logo are trademarks of its owner.
