Zypper isthe money toolwe wanted to exist.

Who we are

We’ve cared about two things for a long time: personal finance, and software made with care. For years we couldn’t find a money tool that took both seriously. Every one fell short somewhere, in how it worked or in how much attention had gone into it. So we built the one we wanted to use.

Zypper is a subscription on purpose. You pay us, so we work for you. There’s no free plan that pays for itself with your data, and we don’t sell what we know about you. When a product is free, you’re the product. Here, the only way we get paid is by making something worth paying for.

We’re a small team, and we like it that way. We’ve spent a long time building software and companies. I’ve already built one successful consumer fintech product before this one, so I know what it takes to build something great. We’re building Zypper with intention and care, and our goal is to bring as much value to our customer as possible. We’re here to serve our customers, and we hope you love using our product as much as we do ourselves.

We sweat the details, because in a tool you open every week, the details are the product.

What we believe

Four ideas we build by.

Zypper exists because the money tools we tried fell short, either in how they worked or in how much care had gone into them. These are the beliefs behind the one we built.

The details are the product.A tool you open every week earns its keep in the small things, so we sweat them: a fix that sticks, a bill that goes quiet and gets noticed, a rule that holds.
Built by people who use it.We care about personal finance, and software made with care. No money tool took both seriously, so Zypper is the one we wanted to use ourselves.

A small but mighty team. We’re a small team and we like it that way. Every product decision, detail, and feature is something that we deliberately thought about. And we get the job done.
Our journey
