Signing in to Zypper

Zypper doesn't use passwords
There is no password to set, remember, or reset. Instead, there are two ways to sign in: a secure link we email you, or your Google account.
Signing in with an email link
- Go to zypper.com and click Log in
- Enter the email address you signed up with
- Open the email we send you and click the sign-in link — it signs you right in
Sign-in links are single-use and expire after 1 hour. If yours expired, just request a fresh one from the login page.
Signing in with Google
If your Zypper account uses a Google email address (like Gmail or a Google Workspace address), you can click Continue with Google on the login page instead of waiting for an email. This works even if you've always signed in by email link before — as long as the Google account's email matches your Zypper email, it connects to your existing account automatically.
Changing your email address
You can change your own email address anytime:
- Go to Settings (lower left corner)
- On the Profile tab, click Edit next to your email address
- Enter your new email address — we'll send a 6-character code to that new inbox
- Enter the code to confirm, and your account switches to the new address
The code expires after 1 hour, and the new address can't already belong to another Zypper account. Your subscription, credit history, and data all stay with your account — only the sign-in email changes.
Common issues
The link expired. Sign-in links are single-use and expire after 1 hour for security. Request a fresh one from the login page.
The email never arrived. Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you entered the exact email address you signed up with.
The app keeps asking you to subscribe. If you can sign in but the app asks you to pay again, you may be signed in with a different email address than the one holding your subscription. Try logging in with any other email addresses you use — including with Continue with Google, which may point at a different address than the one you typed.
Signed up with a mistyped email and can't sign in at all. Changing your email requires being signed in first, so if the sign-in emails are going to an address you can't access, contact support and we'll help you recover the account.
