Budget auto-set, grouped approvals, and group filters

Keep recurring bills intact, review assistant changes by kind, filter whole groups, and see both sides of linked transfers.

Highlights

Keep bills intact when auto-setting your budget

When you auto-set your budget, recurring bills stay at their full amounts even when income falls short, and the preview flags commitments that exceed income. With All selected, you can review small, occasional categories suggested for the Flex pool and accept or decline each move. Rollover savings funds keep their planned amounts.

Review assistant changes by kind

In assistant chats, you can now review proposed changes by kind and approve them individually, by kind, or all at once. Proposals go straight to approval controls; writing what you'd like instead declines pending changes. Approval answers no longer count toward your message quota.

Filter whole groups at once

You can now select or clear whole groups in transaction filters and the net worth chart's account settings, or choose Only to keep just a group. Group actions respect your search, and net worth settings show your selected-account count alongside Select all. Use Clear search or Escape to reset the search without closing the settings popover.

See both accounts in a transfer

You can now see From and To accounts in transaction and recurring payment detail panels when a transfer is linked to another account. Account badges let you preview each account or open its page.

Improvements

  • Your transactions now get automatic merchant checks against their descriptions and established transaction history to correct mismatches and inconsistent assignments.
  • You see transaction lists faster after hovering over rows, without briefly seeing the previous selection's transactions when switching.
  • You reach matching accounts or recurring items through View details, with off-screen rows centered and recurring items opening under the correct tab.
  • You see transaction review changes immediately in both the list and details panel while they save, with the previous state restored if saving fails.
  • You see loading messages while verification questions load and answers are checked, without the dialog changing size.
  • You see more consistent typography across the dashboard, transaction descriptions, filters, and form controls.
  • You now see holiday decorations and greetings on the dashboard, including a greeting specifically for New Year's Eve.
  • We no longer send monthly product update emails, and you no longer see their notification preference.

Fixes

  • Your shared assistant link previews no longer expose reply text or chat names, and shared pages hide titles matching your question's first line.
  • You can refresh each bank connection only once an hour across your household, rather than once per member.
  • You no longer get a monthly report before a connection needing reconnection has synced at least seven days past its coverage period.
  • You no longer see a failed credit report retrieval alert alongside an access error, such as a canceled subscription.
  • You can now scroll through filter editors and settings popovers on small screens instead of having options run off-screen.
  • You no longer get unwanted scrolling when clicking onboarding buttons, and the bottom fade stops covering content when the actions aren't pinned.
  • You no longer see the month banner's exit animation replay when returning to the current month.
  • You no longer get partial chat titles when naming fails after it starts.
  • You no longer encounter failed app requests when a temporary service outage prevents request limits from being checked.
