Budget spend tracking, email alerts, and tag management
You can now track your budget through spending, receive account-aware email alerts, and manage tags from settings.
Highlights
Track spending against your budget
You can now use a spend-tracking approach to budgeting rather than envelope budgeting. Hover over a remaining amount in your budget to see the month's spendable budget, activity, and difference. New guides in the help center's Budgeting & categories section explain spending pace, rollover, Flex spending, and recurring bills.
Get finance alerts by email
You now receive emails about connection issues, newly available accounts, recurring transactions, and upcoming charges, based on your notification settings. Emails identify affected accounts and distinguish credit card payments and transfers from charges. Related recurring and upcoming notifications are grouped into digests, with upcoming charge reminders delivered in your local morning.
Manage tags from settings
You can create, rename, recolor, and delete tags in Settings › Tags, with confirmation before deletion. In transaction tag pickers, type a name with no matches to create a tag and choose its color, or select Manage tags to open settings.
Improvements
- You see consistent spacing, text styling, and button sizes across dialogs, with resized email and code inputs.
Fixes
- Your cash flow no longer counts eligible bank-funded wallet payments twice.
- Your inline budget amount fields no longer stay grayed out while the rest of the dashboard refreshes after a save.
- Your dashboard tabs left open during an update now reload when needed instead of crashing on changed data.
